Last month, we hosted a Kids Drawing Challenge. We asked them to draw a picture that shows what they love about their library, and got 20 entries from local children ages 4-12. All entries were then put in a random draw for a chance to win 1 of 3 reversible plushies, with a chance of their drawings also being featured in the library's upcoming Strategic Plan.
We asked Fire Chief Bryce Robinson to do the honours and draw three names. Our winners were: Ayva, Hope, and Colton.
Which drawings will be featured in our Strategic Plan is still being decided, but for now, you can check out all the entries at the bottom of this post or see them in person by the library entrance for the month of March.
We'd like to thank all the talented young artists who participated and shared what they love most about coming to the library. It was a great opportunity to hear from some of our youngest library patrons, who come to the library not only for books, but also for a space to spend time with their friends and play.
Check out their drawings below!
