Veterans Week at Hastings Highlands Public Library

During Veterans Week and throughout Remembrance Day, we honour those who have served Canada during times of war, military conflict, and peace.

The Hastings Highlands Public Library has several displays of reading material for all ages that cover a variety of perspectives during times of war in Canada. We will also be holding a moment of silence in the library on Remembrance Day.

Pandemic restrictions in 2020 and 2021 have meant an increase in virtual Remembrance Day ceremonies. You can watch the National Remembrance Day Ceremony starting at 10:45am on TV or live on the Royal Canadian Legion's Facebook page.
